Nominate a 2027 Women's Voices Calendar Star

It is the time of the year that we begin the selection of the women to be featured in next year's Women’s Voices…Hear Them Speak Calendar ©. The selection process involves nomination from the board and previous winners and supporters. Each nominee is reviewed and researched to verify the information received. The selection of the nominees involves the following criteria. 

1. A woman who is currently or has in the past resided in Pennsylvania. She may have been born in PA or have a period of residency in PA.

2. Nominee is an outstanding woman in

 her profession and/or volunteer service

 and has made a significant impact in her

 region, state, and or nation. 

3. The nominee can be deceased or currently

 alive. The nomination period extends from

 when Pennsylvania became a colony (1681)

 to the present date.

4. If your choice is deceased, she must have

 been deceased for a minimum of ten years to

 avoid legal complications

5. If the current nominee is alive, she must 

give her permission to appear on the

 calendar.

Spirit of the 19th Amendment Award Nominee

Each year, the PA Womens Hall of 

Achievement honors women who are

 passionate about women's stories and the

 overwhelming barriers women had to

 overcome to obtain their basic human rights.

 Help us honor these women by nominating

 women whose leadership exemplifies those

 who courageously championed women's

 rights. The selection of the nominees involves

 the following criteria. 

1. A woman who is currently residing in

 Pennsylvania.

2. The nominee is an outstanding woman in

 her profession and/or volunteer service who

 has made a significant impact in her region,

 state, and/or nation. 

3. The nominee works to improve women’s

 status in her region and state.

4. The nominee advocates for women and

 their economic, political, and general welfare

 rights.
